Scientists discover the "missing link"; found captaining Carolina Hurricanes ·
The National Geographic Society is reporting a major discovery in the quest to understand evolution, specifically, confirming theories that link between contemporary humans and ape-like creatures.
It turns out that Carolina star Rod Brindamour is a member of the Hominoidea superfamily of primates yet is able to grunt noises and perform basic mathematics.
Brindamour, like all true apes, is an agile tree climbers and best described as omnivorous. He also likes golf.
The Brindamour is considered a close cousin to Mike Ricci, classified as Lar Gibbon or Siamang, which are known as the lesser apes and is a distant cousin of the equally ugly, Brent Sopel and Tim Hunter.
This comes as a major blow to the supporters of Intelligent Design, which believe that all hockey players did not evolve but rather were created by a single, all-mighty higher power: Barry Melrose.
Palaeontologists hope to study Brindamour some more and take a more in-depth look at what clues might be hiding behind Owen Nolan’s goatee.
