Stephen Jackson can defend Cleveland's LeBron, not Chrysler's LeBaron ·

It’s been a rough week for Stephen Jackson.
After being at a strip club with teammates, Jackson was arguing that he was the Pacers’ best defender. Jamaal Tinsley suggested that Jackson wouldn’t even take a charge – an accusation to which an inebriated Jackson took issue.
Upon seeing a car driving the “lane” Jackson stepped into the street, took the charge, and then celebrated, Texas-style. (Link)
Unfortunately for Jackson, he is now being whistled for a foul, as referee Steve Javie deemed the shooting a direct violation of the NBA’s new technical foul rule. (Link)
Pacer legend Reggie Miller was upset with the incident. “What was he thinking! You can’t stop LeBaron, you can only hope to contain him”.
Bill Walton was quick to throw in his two cents as well.
“Stephen Jackson is as foolish as Steve Snapper Jones if he thinks he can stop the LeBaron. The 1994 LeBaron is a majestic automobile. It’s as stylish like World B Free, as tough as Willis Reed, as rebelllious as a young Pitol Pete Maravich, and has the trunk room of Rick Mahorn. Throw it down big man!”
“Chris Childs is, far and away, the best inbounds passer in the NBA” Walton added.
Despite the criticism and legal ramifications of this latest incident, the three Pacer players involved – Jackson, Tinsley, and Marquis Daniels – said they will continue to live their life as they normally would.
“Wherever there is injustice, you will find us” said Jackson.
“Wherever there is suffering, we’ll be there” continued Tinsley.
Added Daniels, “Wherever liberty is threatened, you will find…”
